Authentic Makeup Reviews Journey

Beauty products are easy to find, and hard on the bank. I, myself, have tried every drugstore concealer available since 2013. Okay, probably not every single one, but it feels like it.

Before, I would go to YT for those end-of-the-month recommendations, only to find out a video is sponsored by one of the included products. I'd see IG posts about some influencer's Holy Grail (#HG) facial oil, only to see Paid Partnership hovering above it. Worse yet, advertisements are now made to mimic the look and feel of a down-to-earth Everyday BeautyTM vlogger's glowing experiences with this $68 hairspray. Thank goodness for Makeup Alley.

From now on, for all reviews and recommendations, I go to #MakeupAlley. It's not just makeup, either! Hair products, nail products, tools, and more can be found using their review search tool. Regular people looking for their HG just like us give their in-depth reviews of products that they've purchased and used. It's the best place to get reviews from other beauty lovers who, most importantly, are not paid to give good reviews--this is their honest feedback. And having spent their money on it, they have no reason not to be critical!

I know beauty brands and companies know about MakeupAlley--because everyone in the industry or just interested about beauty seems to know. But I still hold out hope that it won't be touched by advertisements, sponsorships, or partnerships, (or worst of all: the 'fair reviews given in exchange for a free product'). Go check it out while you still can! And if it tickles your fancy, leave a review for your favorite (or least favorite!) products to help ya sisters out!
